Root Vegetable Soup


1 Cup Chopped Onion

1 Cup Chopped Celery

1 Cup Chopped Carrots

4 Cups Water

Enough Chicken Broth Cubes for 4 cups water (Varies by brand)

1 14oz Can Diced Tomatoes

1 Can Chicken Breast Chunks

1 tbsp Italian Seasoning Blend

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes


Fill pot with water, and add vegetables and chicken broth to boil 15 minutes

Pour in can of diced tomatoes.

Add your salt and spices and continue to simmer until vegetables are soft.

Add can of cooked chicken breast meat with juice and stir in. Simmer for about 5 more minutes.

Serve up the soup!
