Halloween Fun!

The Maidens' Walks at Samhain are a solemn time. On and around the eve of Samhain, many young Maidens will walk Widdershins within their Covens to guide back the spirits of the dead to this Earth that they may Meet, Know, and Love again with their loved ones. It is a high act of service, for the weight of the spirits hang heavy on her back, and the air on the road to the gate of Cair Arianrhod is thick as molasses. Thus she gives of her youth to bring life to the dead once more. Few are witness, and even fewer feel the cold touch of the spirits' return. The Earth is soon to be trod upon by wispy feet, and the lay mortals will feel only but a cold chill in the wind on the Eve of Samhain, hinting at something more.
